Traders Surgery 24th May 2017
The Traders Surgery kicked off as usual with a discussion on trading Sins and Wins from the previous month. It was good to hear the positive results from so many and to welcome new members to the group.

A large proportion of the surgery was taken up with a thorough primer on how to use Renko charts; how to build a sensible strategy around these charts and how to risk manage your trades using Renko.
We also talked trading strategies and pointers ahead of the UK General Election in June and how you can capture sentiment in your trading using social media scanning tools. ATR (Average True Range) its calculation and use was also addressed.
The main trading opportunities again will be centered around geopolitical risk in the coming month – UK elections, Brexit, Trump. In commodities generally the complex looks weak and eyes will be on OPEC and production controls for crude oil.
